Umbakumba School

Umbakumba School teachers and assistant teachers have strong support from parents within the community and are working very hard to keep Umbakumba students at school through to Year 12, which they achieved for the first time in 2010 with 3 students graduating their NT Certificates of Education: Hannah Mamarika, Andrea Wanambi and Elsa Mamarika.

The School received funding in 2009 for beautification works, and the students did some wonderful paintings as a part of those improvements.
