Milingimbi School

Class of 2010: Milingimbi families are very proud of Shannon Gaypangaypan and Pauline Marrawuma who graduated with their NT Certificates of Education from Milingimbi School, supported through on-line studies by the NT Open Education Centre (NTOEC).

Class of 2009 saw a record number of students who completed Year 12, both at Milingimbi School and boarding schools.

Milingimbi School graduates Sylvette Maral'wuy, Zoe Lalawarri, Mark Gukukpuy & Hazel Guminda.	Edmond Mawdal (with Melanie Garrawarra from Galiwin'ku) graduated from Shalom College in Queensland.
Shaun Balakanbuy Wauchope (with proud mum Jennifer Baker) graduated from St Brendan's College in Queensland.	Miranda Gayula graduated at Marrara Christian College in Darwin.

In March 2009, Milingimbi School and Senior Milingimbi Elders entered into a Remote Learning Partnership Agreement (RLPA) with the NT Government to better resource the School and improve enrolment and attendance.

The RLPA signing ceremony was a special day for young and old.

The Senior girls took a break from their very important studies.

Class of 2008 were Albena, Jacob and Kevin (featured below) graduating from Milingimbi School, and Josiah Burrarwanga, Lawrence Militjpi Gurruwiwi and Joshua Yapinany Dhurrkay graduating from Shalom College in Townsville.
