Bulman School is a part of the Katherine Group Schools, its principal is Irene Gillespie who, with the support of the other teaching staff, is working very hard to get the current group of secondary students through to complete Year 10, so they can then go on to boarding schools in Katherine or Darwin. Completing secondary education is not easy for any students, particularly those in isolated regions, but the communities of Bulman, Weemol and surrounding Homelands are very supportive and determined that their senior students will make it through to Year 12 graduation.
Not least amongst those mentoring the students is their teacher Annette Miller, who is also a senior Traditional Owner for the region and has worked at the School for many years, serving as principal in 2006/'07 until she stepped down from that position due to ill health.

Class of 2010: Liam George spent 2 years boarding at Kormilda College in Darwin and graduated with his NT Certificate of Education, and I know everyone at Bulman is just so proud of his achievements.
| Class of 2009: Troy Martin was elected Vice Captain for Kormilda College during his graduation year and led by example to be a respected leader of the Indigenous students in the boarding residence.
