Alyangula
Alyangula is a mining town established in the 1960's to mine for manganese and has now grown into a successful economic partnership with the Anindilyakwa people, with the official opening of the $18million Dugong Beach Resort in 2008, built through a joint venture with a private tourist developer and the Anindilyakwa Land Council, adding to this success.
