Alyangula Area School

Alyangula School only began offering senior secondary curriculum in 2009 so it was a special celebration when Caitlyn Williams graduated in 2010 with her NT Certificate of Education.  Senior school students are supported by NT Open Education Centre via phone, email and video conferencing.

Caitlin showed great commitment and self disipline to achieve her NTCE and went on to university to study for her Bachelor of Teaching.

In August 2009 Alyangula Area School students had morning tea with me prior to their tour of Parliament House, while on a school excursion to Darwin.  Chief Minister Paul Henderson also dropped by to say hello.  To view more about Alyangula School and its students - www.alyangula.com
